Big 5 Streaming FAQ
This online streaming project is being provided by a group of people who are working with a ton of heart and little budget to do big things to further the sport of roller derby! We hope that this FAQ will help answer your general questions.
If your question is not answered, or for technical support, please contact support@blazestreaming.com.
What's the pricing structure for the high quality access?
For $80 - You get high quality viewing of all Big 5 Tournaments, with 90 days of archives from the end of Championships.
For $20 - You get high quality viewing of the Big 5 Tournament of your choice (17 bouts) with 90 days of archives from the date of purchase.
For $10 - You get high quality viewing for one day, with no access to the archives.
You mention "high quality" - tell me more about that?
- The live stream will always be restricted one way or another due to venue bandwidth. Furthermore, depending on your own internet connection, you won't be viewing in the same exact quality that someone else might be seeing. Internet broadcast offers a lot of different possible situations. In terms of the archives, they will be full 720p HD. Just remember, we're small, and the HD that we're giving you online isn't quite the same as the NFL on FOX.
How do I get access to the archives if I purchased the multiple day packages?
- First, Go to the login page: http://derbyaccess.com/wp-login.php and enter your username and password.
- Second, you should see an archives link on the navigation bar. Click on that, and it will take you to the archives.

Why can't I get immediate access to the archives?
- The production crew onsite is doing what they do best: producing the live broadcast. All of the archives will be available online as soon as the team can manage it. The goal is to get each day's archives up within 24 hours, but there tends to be complications onsite for a variety of reasons. We appreciate your patience in this process!
How do I know if I'm logged into my account?
- You will see a "Log Out" option at the bottom of your page.

- If you are not logged in, you will see a "Log In" option.
Will all of the pre/post-game interviews be on the DVDs and archives?
- DVDs usually do not have the between bout interviews on them. Stream archives may or may not, depending on the cuts. However, we are working to piece together fun interview snips on our official WFTDA YouTube Channel. Those will take time to produce and cut, so please subscribe so you can get notified of the latest updates!
How can I watch from my iPad/iPhone?
Why can't I get the high quality feed on my iPad/iPhone?
- Because the device itself is small. You only need the free feed on it!
Why not Android?
- Android users are already able to view the feed through their device's web browser. iPhones and iPads aren't able to view Flash (which is how the feed is streamed), so a workaround was needed for those users.
Will my login work from multiple computers?
- Yes, but you will need to be logged out of one computer to be able to view on another.
I'm getting the message "503: Service Temporarily Unavailable Too many IP addresses accessing one secure area!" What does that mean?
- This means that you're logged in on multiple computers, or someone else is accessing your account. Please only sign into one computer at a time.
Can I watch through my Boxee box on my TV?
- The Tournament video coverage is not compatible with Boxee. We hope to offer this at a future date, but our current resources do not make this possible.
How about PS3 or Xbox?
- Right now we can't accommodate PS3 or Xbox. But again, we're working on this for the future!
What if my question isn't answered in this FAQ?
- While we don't have anyone available to answer phone calls onsite to troubleshoot, we are able to receive emails and are responding to issues as quickly as possible. Please email Support@blazestreaming.com for further assistance.
