Long Island Roller Rebels

The Long Island Roller Rebels are Long Island's first all-female roller derby league. We formed our league in July of 2005. We had an exhibition bout on February 22, 2006 where the Wicked Wheelers of the West battled the East End Ladies of Laceration. We have come a long way since then; from having three home teams: the Wicked Wheelers of the West, the East End Ladies of Laceration, and the Mid-Island Rolling Thundercats, to one WFTDA travel team, the "Long Island Roller Rebel All-Stars," and our home team, the "Rock-A-Betty Bruisers." The Roller Rebels also compete in Interleague play against WFTDA and non-WFTDA leagues.
