WFTDA Announces the 2013 Officiating Clinics

WFTDA is delighted to announce dates and hosts for the 2013 cycle of WFTDA Officiating Clinics. Offered in four countries on three continents, WFTDA Officiating Clinics are designed to offer officials, coaches, and captains of diverse skill levels and affiliations to a host of new educational training materials that have been specifically designed to work with the WFTDA’s new 2013 Flat Track Roller Derby Rules set, while also providing officials with tools and practical knowledge that will allow them to develop their skills in order to manage bouts effectively and follow the WFTDA development path through to Certification.

WFTDA Insurance Now Open to All Flat Track Derby Leagues

The WFTDA is excited to announce that all flat track roller derby leagues will be eligible to purchase their leagues' general liability and excess medical insurance through the WFTDA starting in 2013.

WFTDA Releases 2013 Rules of Flat Track Roller Derby

The Women’s Flat Track Derby Association has released updated Rules of Flat Track Roller Derby. The new rules officially go into effect for all WFTDA-sanctioned play Jan. 1, 2013, and were released today so all users of the rule set can begin learning and training under them.

Updated Rules to Publish Monday
