2012 WFTDA Surveys
It’s survey season once again! This year the WFTDA is collecting data and audience feedback in two separate surveys.
Are you a fan, skater, or league partner? Please participate in our third annual demographic survey. The WFTDA wants to know more about you and your opinions!
And if you watched the WFTDA 2011 Big 5 tournament broadcasts or attended them in person, please also participate in our first tournaments and broadcasting survey. Help us plan to make the 2012 tournaments and broadcasts as successful as possible!
The surveys will be open from February 1st to February 15th. Survey participants may optionally enter a drawing to win a WFTDA prize pack (a Ceramic Insulated Coffee Mug and a Gildan Soft Grey WFTDA Tee). Five winners from each survey will be selected at random after the surveys close and will be notified by email.

Who is Roller Derby?
Help your favorite league and the development of women's flat track roller derby at the same time!
Fans of modern roller derby are asked to participate in our third annual comprehensive online demographic survey of roller derby fans and skaters. Here are the topline results from the 2011 survey, which drew more than 10,000 responses and provided a comprehensive look at the modern derby community of skaters and fans.
This survey is designed to help the WFTDA and its individual member leagues understand the modern roller derby audience.
The survey collects demographic data, basic consumer habits, and opinions about the state of the sport. It should only take a few minutes to complete.
Participating in this survey will supply valuable information to your favorite local league, as well as to the modern roller derby community as a whole.
Fans and skaters of non-WFTDA leagues – male or female - are also invited to participate in this survey.

Tell us about our Big 5 Tournaments!
The results of this survey will help the WFTDA plan the 2012 tournaments and broadcasts.
Did you attend a WFTDA Big 5 tournament in 2011 and/or watch a tournament online at wftda.com? We want to hear about your experiences! The WFTDA is taking a larger role in organizing the Big 5 in 2012 and began broadcasting its own tournaments for the first time in 2011.
This survey is designed to gather feedback from skaters, officials, volunteers and fans who participated in or attended one or more of the WFTDA regional playoffs or the WFTDA Championships in 2011. It also has questions about the online broadcast of the WFTDA Big 5, for those who watched one or more tournaments at home.
The survey will take 5 to 15 minutes to complete, depending on the responses to survey questions. Your participation will help the WFTDA and the Big 5 host leagues improve the tournament experience for those attending this year's events or watching the broadcast from home.
Please note: Responses are limited to one per computer (IP address) for each survey. If there are multiple roller derby fans in your household who want to participate, each must take the survey from a different computer.
