Rose City Wins 2016 Championships!

Rose City Rollers won the 2016 International WFTDA Championships in their hometown of Portland, Oregon. Gotham Girls Roller Derby came in Second Place, and Victorian Roller Derby League came in Third Place. Blue Ridge Rollergirls took First Place in the Division 2 Finals, with Brandywine Roller Derby coming in Second Place, and Calgary Roller Derby Association coming in Third Place.


This is your one-stop shop for news and information about the 2016 International WFTDA Division 1 & 2 Playoff and Championship tournaments. The two Division 2 Playoffs will be in August and the four Division 1 Playoffs will be in September. The International 2016 WFTDA Championships will be in Portland, Oregon, November 4-6, hosted by the Rose City Rollers.

ABOUT PLAYOFFS AND CHAMPIONSHIPS

Each WFTDA Member League has a Charter team that competes with other WFTDA leagues in sanctioned games that determine placement in the WFTDA Rankings. The top-ranked teams as of the June 30th Rankings compete in six Playoff tournaments in the fall, with the top finishers advancing to the Championship tournament.
