2026 WFTDA Postseason Tournament Head Announcers Have Been Selected

WFTDA is pleased to reveal the Tournament Head Announcers (THA) for the 2026 Postseason. Please join us in congratulating the selected THAs: 

WFTDA would like to thank the Announcing Development Committee (ADC) for their support in selecting the 2026 THAs. As many of the ADC are experienced announcers who were applying, a selection panel comprising of TchaiKILLsky, Jumping Spider, Hémo, and Comic Drop reviewed candidates and made selections.

As we are still finalizing details of the LATAM Championships at this stage we have not appointed a THA and will be working with the host league to develop broadcast plans.

Announcer applications for the 2026 Postseason will be released in the next few weeks in a single stage process. For the first time WFTDA will also be looking for Social Media Leads and teams to work as part of the announcing crew, engaging teams, spectators, crews, and people at home with the exciting stories coming out of the 2026 WFTDA Postseason Tournaments. This selection process will be part of the same process and form as announcing roles.

With the WFTDA Championships being held outside of North America for the first time ever, we will be looking to expand the provision of broadcast in multiple languages. As part of the ADC’s commitment to developing resources and support for announcers at all stages of their development, WFTDA is grateful to the French announcing community as we will be imminently releasing the Announcer Guide in French.
