WFTDA Launches new WFTDA.com and moves member site to WFTDA.org
The WFTDA Marketing and Tech teams are proud to launch the new WFTDA.com today.
Developed alongside our contractors, Blase Design, the new WFTDA.com serves as a one-stop site for roller derby fans. New features include information on the basics of flat track roller derby, a list of WFTDA events that will include member-hosted events in the future, and a robust profile of each member league.
“The dynamic visuals and flexibility of the new site will allow us to showcase the exciting things happening in the WFTDA and its member leagues,” said WFTDA Marketing and Communications Manager Jenna Cloughley. “As the WFTDA innovates and grows, this new site can grow alongside us, and can capture all the content we want to share with the world.”
Many of the member league resources formerly available on WFTDA.com will remain publicly available via WFTDA.org.
“By splitting our sites to .org and .com we were able to provide easier navigation and better meet the needs of the distinct audiences we speak to. We appreciate all of Blase Design’s support and time as we moved quickly through development and into launch,” Cloughley said.
Today’s launch is part of a phased plan that includes a rebrand of WFTDA.tv, and a migration of content between the .com and .org sites. As we complete the content migration, users may find errors or broken links either in documents or on pages of WFTDA.org. We encourage all users to report these issues by filling out this form.
