Black Derby Collective [Stats]

Black Derby Collective (BDC) is a WFTDA-chartered league composed of Black skaters committed to uplifting and amplifying Black athletes in roller derby. BDC’s mission is to create competitive opportunities within the WFTDA structure, with the long-term goal of qualifying for Playoffs and Championships.

As a collective, BDC are intentional about building sustainable infrastructure while centering equity, visibility, and empowerment for Black skaters. BDC values collaboration across the wider Black derby community, complementing the work of groups like Black Diaspora Roller Derby while pursuing a distinct competitive path through sanctioned play.

BDC’s membership reflects a shared commitment to representation, integrity, and excellence on and off the track, and they look forward to contributing to the growth and diversity of the global roller derby community.
