Founded in 2009, Newcastle Roller Girls is an athletic and social non-profit organisation committed to improving ourselves and others through the sport of roller derby. We strive for athletic excellence and competitive success in the growing world of women’s roller derby, embracing women of all shapes, sizes, ages, backgrounds and skill levels. The members of NRG are strong and motivated people who train to maximise their individual abilities, increasing their skills through discipline, hard work and focus in a fun, safe environment.We host quality sports events for our fans, and make a positive impact in our community working with like-minded organisations to provide volunteers, funding and support to further their goals.
