State College Area Roller derby (SCAR derby) was founded in October 2010 as a skater owned and operated organization. As of 2015 SCAR derby became a non-profit organization.
We have 4 teams:
• The Happy Valley Dolls is the travel “A” team and our WFTDA team.
• Plan B is the SCAR travel “B” team.
• Two intraleague (home) teams: the Mt. Nittany Mayhem and the Pennsyltucky Punishers.
Our main practice/bout venue is Penn Skates, High Tech Rd, State College, PA 16803
