WFTDA Releases Tickets for 2018 Championships
The WFTDA invites you to join us live for the 2018 International Championships in New Orleans, Louisiana. Hosted by Big Easy Rollergirls, this event brings together the top 10 teams in the world to compete for the highest award in roller derby – the Hydra. Tickets for Championships go on sale today at 11:00 a.m. EDT.
The city of New Orleans rests on the Mississippi River, near the Gulf of Mexico. Nicknamed the “Big Easy,” it’s known for its round-the-clock nightlife, vibrant live-music scene, and spicy, singular cuisine reflecting its history as a melting pot of French, African, and American cultures. Embodying its festive spirit is Mardi Gras, the late-winter carnival famed for raucous costumed parades, street parties and now the biggest roller derby event of the year! Located on the campus of the University of New Orleans, the Lakefront Arena has been home to films, concerts, sports, and much more. It is in this hall of stars that the 2018 WFTDA champions will compete for the ultimate roller derby title.

Ticket options include general admission single evening, single day, and full weekend passes, as well as a 3-day VIP pass. Full weekend passes can be purchased on the separate link provided and will close sales by 6 p.m. Friday November 9. Doors open one hour before the start of the game for evening game ticket holders.
3-Day VIP includes reserved seating in the best seats in the house, lounge with a private bar just for VIP’s, entrance to an *Exclusive* Sunday “Final Countdown” Party during the last game with complimentary drinks, a 2018 Championship Collectors Program, and a VIP badge and lanyard.
