WFTDA.tv to Produce Free Live Twitch Stream of 2019 JRDA Championships
The WFTDA is proud to be working with the Junior Roller Derby Association (JRDA) again for the third year in a row, to produce the broadcast of the youth sports organization’s 2019 JRDA Championships event, July 26-28, 2019 live and streaming free on Twitch.tv/WFTDA.

All games on both tracks of the 2019 JRDA Championships will be live streamed for free at Twitch.tv/WFTDA July 26-28. Using new technology, this broadcast will allow users to switch between tracks easily and quickly on the WFTDA Twitch channel and as always, viewers can participate with the action using the live chat feature of Twitch.
The WFTDA has been spearheading delivery of roller derby content to Twitch, showcasing some of the best of the sport with over 20 live broadcasts, including free streams from the WFTDA Continental Cups, Playoffs and Championships, and 20 Watch Party Wednesday re-broadcast of past games, and has grown to 3,400+ followers, and over 256,150 views of our content since the channel’s inception in 2017.
“The Junior Roller Derby Association (JRDA) leadership are proactive and dedicated partners in our efforts to build a positive, inclusive, and sustainable sport,” says WFTDA Executive Director Erica Vanstone. “We’re excited to be able to, once again, showcase all of the hard work of the JRDA Board and countless young athletes and families on our WFTDA Broadcast. This year, we’re hoping to share their talents with an even wider audience by broadcasting the free stream, live on our Twitch channel.”
To prepare for the 2019 JRDA Championships, Watch Party Wednesdays, airing each Wednesday at 6pm ET on Twitch.tv/WFTDA, will showcase three games from the 2018 JRDA Championships and World Cup, starting Wednesday, July 3.
