Thank you for your interest in hosting a WFTDA Continental Cup. Please complete the bid application form to the best of your ability. In addition to completing the bid application form, please provide the following:

  1. Floor map of the venue including dimensions
  2. Photos of the venue including floor surface
  3. Any additional information that you feel WFTDA needs to consider your application

The WFTDA Venue Site Visit Worksheet will help your league assess a venue for your event. While there are some sections of that worksheet included in the application, you do not need to submit this document to WFTDA.

The WFTDA is dedicated to creating an inclusive environment for everyone, and our Continental Cups are inclusive of these values. We will not tolerate sexism, racism, transphobia or homophobia, and our events will work continuously to combat the effects of discrimination in our communities. All WFTDA Continental Cups will be required to operate within the WFTDA Tournament Code of Conduct and Cup hosts will be responsible for staffing an individual in an Inclusion and Standards Manager role to ensure an inclusive event for all. Training for the position will be provided by WFTDA.

Please email bids@wftda.com with your completed bid application form, along with any additional information you feel WFTDA needs to consider your application and the following attachments:

  1. Floor map of the venue including dimensions
  2. Photos of the venue including floor surface

Completed applications are due by Friday, June 28, 2019 by 11:59 pm US Eastern Daylight Time.

Selection Process

All bids submitted by the June 28th deadline will be presented to key WFTDA staff, the Tournament Selection Panel and the Board of Directors for review. Discernment period will be from June-September and winning bid applicants will be notified late September 2019.
