Dublin Roller Derby of Dublin, Ireland came in Second Place, and Tiger Bay Brawlers of Cardiff, Wales, UK came in Third Place.

The MVP award was presented to Kallio’s Katti Schrödinger, who was a key defensive player for her team and only served four penalties throughout the tournament.

WFTDA asked Katti how she felt about playing in the European Continental Cup and earning the MVP award:

“The tournament was a great experience, and the win meant a lot for our team. I’m so proud of us and the way we were able to overcome difficult situations and turn the games to our advantage especially during the second periods. The MVP award was a complete surprise to me! I really owe it all to our team and amazing coaches.”

This was the first-ever European WFTDA Continental Cup, following the 2018 tournament restructure that added a Continental Cups program to provide a regional postseason tournament opportunity for member leagues ranked below the cutoff for the International WFTDA Playoffs.

The Derby on Toast Bracket Challenge had 14 players with perfect brackets at the end of the weekend, so a random drawing was used to choose the winner. Congrats to RosettaStone! Be sure to visit https://derbyontoast.com/wftda-bracket-challenge to make your Championships predictions.
