Member Services Listening Session: April 5, 2019
As a global organization that is growing rapidly and striving to build strong leagues and communities, we are committed to learning and developing resources for our members. Inspired by work already happening within our roller derby community, we are actively committing to a crucial step in community building: listening.
In our first listening session on Friday, April 5 at 8:00PM ET, we invite individuals from WFTDA-member and non-member leagues to join us to share their thoughts and reflections on the current state of our culture, the ways we miss opportunities for equity and what are the best practices we can learn from each other.

We want to hear from our community – specifically from the many communities that are marginalized within our system. We are also excited to share some of the work that the Diversity and Inclusion Committee, Member Services, and the broader WFTDA is engaged in for 2019 to bring more intersectional equity to our sport.
We invite individuals from around the world to join us for our first listening session. We encourage everyone to share their thoughts and reflections on the current state of our community, the ways we miss opportunities for equity, and the best practices that we can learn from each other.
Please register now to join us on April 5, 2019 at 8:00PM ET for this listening session and discussion. We will be recording our session and will post the recording afterwards.
If you are unable to attend but would like to share with the group, please send comments and questions to our Member Services Manager, Dottie Damage.
