WFTDA Issues Statement Against US Travel Ban

The Women’s Flat Track Derby Association stands in solidarity against the United States’ discriminatory executive order which issued immigration restrictions regarding lawful immigrants, nonimmigrants, and refugees from Iraq, Syria, Sudan, Iran, Somalia, Libya and Yemen.

We believe the diversity of our member leagues, volunteers, staff and worldwide community makes our organization stronger, and we are committed to inclusive and anti-discrimination practices. As an international organization, free and open travel is vital to our community.

As the states of Minnesota and Washington actively tackle this issue, we lend our collective voice to their movement in opposition of this executive order and support efforts to overturn it.
