Gotham Wins!
Gotham Girls Roller Derby (#1) won the 2017 International WFTDA Division 1 Playoffs: Malmö. Denver Roller Derby (#2) came in Second Place, London Roller Girls (#3) came in Third Place, and Crime City Rollers (#4) came in Fourth Place.
These four teams will compete at the 2017 International WFTDA Championships in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, U.S. Nov. 3-5.
The tournament MVP was Shortstop of Gotham Girls Roller Derby.

We are Crime City Rollers and we come from Malmö, Sweden.
Our league was founded in 2011 by a small group of eager persons who had a big vision and it involved roller derby. In the beginning our practice space was the roof of a car park with a view of Malmö. But now, seven years later, with the help of our amazing and supportive city we finally have our own practice venue which we call Crime City Hall. In just a few years we have come a long way. We now have three traveling teams, the A-, B- and C-teams, and a junior league called Candy Snatchers.
We are so excited to host the first-ever European WFTDA Division 1 Playoffs tournament. We really hope you will enjoy the tournament and our great city!
