WFTDA Releases Seeding and Brackets for 2026 North America and Europe Postseason Tournaments
The WFTDA is excited to release the participating teams, schedules, and brackets for the 2026 WFTDA Postseason Tournaments in North America and Europe, with seeding determined by the April 1, 2026 rankings. The 2026 WFTDA Oceania Regional Championships information, along with the number of bids each Regional Playoff gets at WFTDA Championships, will be released next month, following the region’s rankings cutoff date on May 1.
The inaugural WFTDA Latin America Regional Championship, hosted by Avas Roller Derby, took place in Rio de Janeiro April 3-5, 2026, with 2×4 Team Osom being the first team to qualify for the 2026 WFTDA Championships.
The WFTDA competitive system has three regions in North America: Northeast, South, and West, and the top 12 ranked eligible teams are invited to Playoffs. In 2026, due to the US border policies, WFTDA added a fourth North America location, and allowed teams who would be asked to cross a border to indicate their travel preference. All teams were accommodated with the location of their choice. With the addition of this fourth event, twelve additional teams from all three regions were offered a spot in the 2026 Postseason based on a merged North America ranking.
The 2026 WFTDA Postseason Tournaments are managed by member league hosts. Below you will find information on each event, the participating teams, and tournament brackets with game times. Ticket information will be provided as it becomes available, and watch passes go on sale later this week.
