Black Derby Collective Wins!
Black Derby Collective (Seed #3) won the 2026 WFTDA North America Playoffs – South Carolina, hosted by Columbia Roller Derby in Columbia, South Carolina, USA. Riptide Roller Derby (Seed #4) came in Second Place, and Red Stick Roller Derby (Seed #1). Black Derby Collective and Riptide Roller Derby will head to the 2026 WFTDA Championships, October 15-18 in Malmö, Sweden.
Fans at home and at the event voted on the tournament MVPs, and awarded MVP Blocker to Bayleigh Wheat of Dallas Derby Devils, and MVP Jammer to Devious Diva of Black Derby Collective. MVPs received a gear package with custom WFTDA pads from Triple 8. [All 2026 MVPs]
Bracket
A thirteenth team was added to the tournament in order to accommodate two new teams entering the competitive region late in the season. As a result, the 2024 WFTDA Global Championships bracket will be used for this tournament.
