Calgary Wins!
Calgary Roller Derby (Seed #2) won the 2026 WFTDA North America Playoffs – Ontario in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada, hosted by Tri-City Roller Derby. MontrĂ©al Roller Derby’s New Skids on the Block (Seed #1) came in 2nd Place, and Queen City Roller Derby’s Lake Effect Furies (Seed #3) came in 3rd Place. Calgary will head to the 2026 WFTDA Championships in Malmö, Sweden, October 15-18.
Fans at home and at the event voted on the tournament MVPs, and awarded MVP Blocker to HAM Wheezy of SoCal Derby, and MVP Jammer to Kris Myass of Calgary Roller Derby. MVPs received a gear package with custom WFTDA pads from Triple 8. [All 2026 MVPs]
