2018 International WFTDA Championships Second Line Parade
Join the roller derby community as we take over New Orleans and the French Quarter for the first ever Champs Second Line Parade! Wear your favorite team colors and join in the fun with the Big Easy Rollergirls and the Lagniappe Brass Band. Space is limited to the first 800 people, so sign up now and make sure everyone attending with you has filled out this form. More information will be emailed out closer to the event.
Date: Thursday Nov. 8, 2018
Time: 4:30 pm Check-In, 5:30pm Parade Start
Where: Outside the Astor Crowne Plaza at Canal and Bourbon (739 Canal St). Do your best not to block the sidewalk as we lineup.
Other Info:
- Please pay attention to the volunteer marshals as they are there to make sure everyone is safe.
- Handkerchiefs, umbrellas, and sweet moves highly encouraged. #WFTDAchamps
- Walking is recommended due to cobblestone streets. Skating is permitted at own risk (is not covered by WFTDA Insurance) with outdoor wheels and all protective gear recommended including knee pads, elbow pads, wrist guards, and helmets.
- Parade ends at the Thursday night after party at the Starlight Lounge, 817 St. Louis Street.
